Named for Missouri author Laura Ingalls Wilder,
Wilder Elementary School opened for students
in 1964. Located in the southeast portion of
the city, directly across the street from Glendale
High School, one has an instant feeling of pride
and warmth upon entering the building. Expansion
of the facility in 1992 by adding new classrooms,
a computer room, and a library reflect the continued
growth of the area. Wilder has a proud tradition
of dedicated staff members, energetic students,
and active parent involvement. Over 3000 volunteer
hours each year reflect the strong support and
commitment of parents and community to the education
of our students.
