Sequiota Elementary School-Springfield, MO
We made it to the end of another year!
Welcome to the website for the Sequiota Elementary Computer Lab. At Sequiota, not only is technology integrated into classroom learning, all students in grades K-2 come to the computer lab twice a week for 30 minutes and all students in 3-5 come to the lab for 60 minutes once a week. Their computer teacher's name is Mrs. Young and she loves working with all of the students at Sequiota!
As we finish out the school year, we are already anticipating another great year next year! Please note, headphones will not be on the school supply lists for next year, however, I am asking that the kids that were here this year either keep their headphones at school over the summer, or bring that back with them next year when school starts. Incoming Kindergartners and new students will be asked to bring headphones to school with them as well, unless their parents would like for them to use school headphones.
Technology is a great way for kids to have fun over the summer months as there are many educational and fun games on the Internet that can help keep them actively learning. Even though technology is a great source of fun, make sure that your kids don't spend all of their time on the computer this summer...get them outside and enjoying the warmth and sunshine!
Feel free to follow the links to the other computer lab pages to find great educational and just for fun games that are safe for kids to play online!
