ART ANNOUNCEMENTS Kindergarten- Cute Kid- Artists make self portraits in cartoon form. First Grade- Cupid- Artist create a collage self portrait. Second Grade-Green Eggs and Ham- To celebrate Seuss' Birthday- artists will weave and create a cool place setting. Third Grade- Laurel Burch- Artists will learn about California Folk Artists while making a cat collage. Fourth Grade-Crazy Hair- Students work on self portraits in pencil. Fifth Grade- Drawing using the right side of our brains. Learning to "look". |
ART EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES CALLING ALL ARTISTS: CHECK OUT THE CREAMERY ARTS CENTER The Springfield Art Museum has wonderful children's art classes. If your artist is interested in pottery, drawing, and creating be sure to call the Museum at 837-5700 and ask about registration.
