Congratulations to the Pleasant View Seventh and Eighth Grade Choir The Pleasant View Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Choir under the direction of Stephanie Hogsett took 1st place in their middle school division at the Worlds of Fun Festival of Music this past Saturday, April 13. Out of the 31 middle schools involved with the event, 12 were competing within the same division for this prize. No medication can be left at school after May 16th. Any medication not picked up will be disposed of. You may have another adult pick up the medication for you by sending a note with your student or calling the school nurse at 523-2330. No medication can be sent home with students. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2013-2014 Incoming 8th-graders The Tdap is the next immunization needed for school. You will need to provide an updated immunization record to the school before you can receive your 8th-grade schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Springfield Public Schools will be going to one district handbook for all grade levels. In an effort to help attain the district’s goal of Effective Use of Resources and make an effort to go green, handbooks will be accessible on-line at http://www.springfieldpublicschoolsmo.org/pages/spsmo/families/student_Handbook. If you prefer a hard copy of the handbook, please call the school office to reserve a copy. HOME ACCESS CENTER If you would like to pick up your student's user name and password, please come by the school office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. You will need to present a photo ID to receive the information. Once you have received your Home Access Center user name and password you will be able to access your student's registration information, attendance, assignments and grade information. The user name and password assigned to your student will carry over from year to year until graduation from high school.
