Teacher Contact: Susan Mann ~ (417) 523-9200 Student Contact: Josh Woodiel Student Body President Student Council/Cabinet is a service organization to the school and to the surrounding community. Student Council is made up of student representatives elected by their peers. StuCoallows three officers and ten representatives to hold positions for each class. Cabinet consists of three officers elected by the student body and eight commissioners selected by a committee of students and teachers. Student Council/Cabinet organizes nearly all student activities at PHS, including the following: community service projects, charity donations, dances, spirit weeks, blood drives, assemblies, elections, videos, marquee changes, Viking Views (daily announcements), Pillage Night (fall carnival), FroshFest (freshmen mixer), and Scholastic Tea (academic honors ceremony). This is a very busy organization! Getting involved with Student Council/Cabinet means getting involved with the entire school. Being a member ofStuCo means having dedication to and pride in Parkview High School.The experiences gained from participating inStuCo include building leadership skills, strengthening social skills, hearing student viewpoints, and accepting responsibility.
