" Becoming a member of the boys' tennis team is one of the best decisions you will make IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!!! While your friends may complain about going to some sort of off season every day, you can laugh at them and go off to tennis practice. It is one of the most laid back and fun activities at PHS has to offer. The only pressure you will EVER feel is that which you put on yourself!

Don't get us wrong, we like to win. Of course we don't win every time out, but we come very close. The great thing about tennis is if you lose a match there's no extra suicides or wall sits to look forward to. That's not what we are about. Everyone plays, and everyone has fun!

Nothing relieves stress more effectively than hitting tennis balls as hard as you can over a fence. It's also guaranteed that you will be honked at by a car full of HOT GIRLS!!! That's right. HOT GIRLS!!! No one honks when they drive by golf practice or swim practice or even football practice. Play tennis and you may even find yourself a date on Saturday.

Tennis is open to everyone. It doesn't matter what grade you're in or how long you've played. Every year we have guys come out that have never stepped on a court before. It doesn't matter!! The guy on the court next to you isn't going to make fun of you. Chances are that guy has no room to talk because he is just as inexperienced!! If you start playing as a Freshman, you will be an absolute beast by your Junior or Senior year. A BEAST!

So if you play tennis, don't play tennis, even if you've never heard of tennis, give thought to joining our program. Cars full of girls, fun, and road trips. Oh, Yes. You will miss class to play tennis. You can't beat that!"~ Patrick McBride & Brandon Conley
