Dear
Parent/Guardian,
The Springfield Region Show Me High School
Bowling would like to welcome you and your student athlete(s) to
the nation’s fast growing sport of high school bowling.
Contained in this letter is a brief description of our program.
Bowling is a
lifetime sport that provides opportunities of participation to
people of all ages, sizes, ability and gender. The Springfield
Show Me High School Bowling is dedicated to providing these
opportunities to any student athlete wishing to participate.
Each high school will be assigned a host bowling center and
coaches that have passed a rigorous background check through the
"USBC Registered Volunteer Program."
In accordance with the Missouri State High School Athletic
Association (MSHSAA) each participating student athlete will be
required to submit a grade card check to his/her coach. Grade
averages must be a 2.50 average or higher to be eligible for
participation. The Show Me High School Bowling is dedicated to
the development of each student’s education. Bowling offers many
scholarship and collegiate opportunities, and we intend on
making the educational process the first and most important
priority. Therefore, grade card reports will be strictly
enforced and no student will be eligible to participate until
he/she maintains a 2.50 minimum.
