Future meetings will continue to be on the first Thursday of each month. (Jan. 3rd, Feb. 7th, March 6th, Apr. 3rd, and May 1st) TRIVIA NIGHT A SUCCESS: Results are in and the first annual "Trivia Night" proved to be a success with over $2000 raised for the construction of an outdoor classroom. Trivia Night participants work to remove the "Vulture" prize. INTEGRATED OUTDOOR CLASSROOM INITIATIVE: The planned construction of an outdoor classroom at Phelps is well under way. See what the excitement is all about! Outdoor Classroom WINGS STUDENTS OBSERVE SHUTTLE: WINGS students were able to observe the recent Space Shuttle's return to earth and hear the sonic boom. Below, first grade students help each other spot the fast moving shuttle.
PHELPS CENTER DEPLOYS "CONTINUOUS CLASSROOM IMPROVEMENT" (CCI): The Center is one of the initial group to use CCI in classroom applications. Students will track their progress from week-to-week using the "Plan-Do-Study-Act" method of classroom assessment. Above, a student adds information to the classroom "Consensogram."
