Service for high school gifted students is provided to support their needs through counseling, advocacy, communication, career guidance, advanced placement and programs (Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, etc.) dual enrollment, higher education opportunities, and intervention for social and emotional needs. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunches, the federal government will pay for part of the price of AP or International Baccalaureate fees.
Subject: Dual Enrollment
Springfield Public High Schools offer classes for college credit in collaboration with OTC and MSU. Students can earn high school and college credit at the same time. Before enrolling in these classes, parents and students should check with potential colleges for transfer information.
