Jason Hite is beginning his eleventh year at WINGS.  He holds his Masters in Gifted Education from Drury University.  Jason enjoys teaching at Phelps because he enjoys encouraging children to become self-motivated learners and creative problem solvers.

Jason and his wife, Heidi, live in Springfield with their three boys Ethan (6), Harrison (5) and Max (2).  In the summer, Jason works at Millwood Golf and Racquet Club, where he manages the pools, coaches the swim team and teaches private swim lessons.  He also coaches the Kickapoo, Nixa and Greenwood High School Swimming and Diving Teams.  Jason and his family attend James River Assembly.  In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family and playing golf with friends.

Jason is looking forward to this school year and working with first grade students.  He feels they are fun to work with because of their creative imaginations and love for learning.
