I have attached to this newsletter/e-mail some student assessment data from our second, third, and fourth grade students. The data shows the achievement growth of these students in Communication Arts and Math. The graphs for third and fourth grades compare Beginning of Year (BOY) scores to Middle of Year (MOY) scores. The graphs for second grade show only reading scores for these students. The data was pulled from our Performance Assessment Series computerized testing program.

As of the last day of December, McBride has the 2^nd highest attendance (96.39%) of any school (elementary or secondary) in the Springfield school district. We are so proud of our parents and students for their commitment to great attendance.
