Continuous
Classroom
Improvement

Mann Elementary was one of the first
schools in Springfield to be deployed as a Continuous Classroom Improvement
(CCI) school. CCI is a process where students are engaged and responsible
for learning. In a CCI classroom you would see instructional strategies
being implemented to create conditions in which all students can
participate. A shift from a focus on teaching to a focus on learning is an
emphasis in this classroom system.
The counselor will administer a Learning
Styles Inventory to each 2nd- 5th grade student. Students will
understand the diverse learning needs of their classroom community by being
accepting & encouraging of individual learning styles . Individual data
cards will be kept on each 3rd - 5th grade student's learning style and
mastery of guidance curriculum goals.
