Ms. Peterson graduated from SMSU in 1983 with a B.S. in Speech Therapy. She earned her Master's degree in Education from Drury College and her Specialist in Administration from SMSU. She has taught at Morrisville, MO and in Springfield at Bowerman and Sequiota. Ms. Peterson was an assistant principal at Hickory Hills Elementary and Middle School for a year and a half before becoming principal at Mann.

Caeli is 24 and is in her first year of teaching at Delaware Elementary in Springfield. Connor is 17 and a Junior this year at Glendale.


Personal Information: Favorites:
Ms. Peterson was born in Rolla, MO. She has lived in Springfield since she was 13. She attended Pleasant View Jr. High and Hillcrest High School. Ms. Peterson has one brother who is a chef in San Francisco. Her semi-retired parents still reside in Springfield.
Ms. Peterson enjoys camping, running and biking (she rides the M.S. 150) and reading. She has two children, Connor 13, who attends Pershing Middle School and Caeli  (pronounced 'SHAYLEE') attending MU. Two other members of the household include Cooper, a sweet and mild-mannered  Sheltie, and Gunner, a wild and obnoxious chow-mix puppy.
