Dear Jarrett Parents,

So far, the 2011-12 school year has experienced a wonderful start. I have been so very impressed with our students and their talents as our staff challenges them in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities. We believe that Jarrett is a community which strives to provide the best education for every student and that JMS is a safe place where students feel secure and comfortable to learn.

As you may be aware, Jarrett has been awarded $4,156.76 in grant money from the Springfield Public Schools Foundation and Reading Roundup! These grants will be used to teach students about music productions and encouraging students to improve attendance.

These grants will be used for the following:
Music Productions-Take 1– Lisa Christenson for $2931.76 (Foundation Grant)
Library- Karen Martin for $625 (Reading Roundup Grant)
Attendance Incentives for $600 (Foundation Grant)
