Can you believe it is already the end of another great year at Jeffries? I have thoroughly enjoyed another year at Jeffries, and hope your child has too. Although some of your children are moving on to Carver or may be moving to another school, I hope you take with you some wonderful memories of our school family with you. You will be missed! For those of you returning next year, we look forward to seeing you in August! Our office and school will be closed during the summer months and reopen mid-August. So you can plan ahead, please keep these tentative dates in mind.

 

1. New Student Enrollment (city-wide)-August 11, 2009 from 8:30AM-3:00PM at each elementary site.

2. Class Lists-will be posted Wednesday, August 19, at 4PM.

3. Meet the Teacher-Friday, August 21st, from 4-6PM. Teachers will have a sit down, informational meeting with parents at 4:30 and again at 5:30. We recommend thatK-2 parents attend from 4-5PM and 3-5th grade parents attend from 5-6PM. TEachers will be in their classrooms from 4-6PM to meet/greet.

4. First Day of School-Tuesday, August 25th, 2009. Classes begin at 8:45 and end at 3:30PM daily (unless enrolled in Prime Time). Thank you for your assistance! Prime Time's Number: 862-7456. 2009-2010 enrollment forms are now available in the front office.

5. Open House-Thursday, October 1st from 5-7PM. K-2nd from 5-6PM and 3-5th grade from 6-7PM. (If you have multiple siblings please feel free to go from one classroom straight to the next).
