Spartans Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is a nationally established organization designed to encourage students to stand united in saying no to drugs, alcohol, cigarette smoking, bullying and all forms of peer pressure that exist in our schools today. All Hickory Hills Spartans will have an opportunity to stand together during Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 22-26) to say yes to a healthy lifestyle and no to drugs and alcohol. There will be daily activities for which students will be able to participate. The theme will be LIFE IS A HIGHWAY TO SUCCESS WHEN YOU SAY NO TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. Red Ribbons will be displayed on the trees outside the front of the school in honor of this special week. I have attached a copy of the daily events that will take place during Red Ribbon Week. Each student will receive a copy of these events in one of their core classes. Please join us in saying no to drugs and alcohol and yes to healthy minds and bodies.
