We are so fortunate to have the best students and parents in town! We appreciate all of the support that our parents and community provide for us. It is evident that our parents put their children’s education as top priority. Besides checking those backpacks each night, we appreciate how our parents help their children with homework, when needed. Here are other ways our parents can show their support:

• Wanda Gray Nights at Texas Roadhouse! Beginning Tuesday, September 1st from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Wanda Gray families are invited to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse and support Wanda Gray at the same time. Ten percent of proceeds will go back to the school. These events will take place the first Tuesday of each month. Make sure that you let your waitress know that you are from Wanda Gray. Thank you for your support.
  
  
• Wanda Gray Appreciation Day/Night @ Domino’s on Republic Road—889-3131
  This event takes place on every third Wednesday of the month. When you order your pizzas, tell the person taking your order which class your child is in. The top three classes who had the most orders receive pizza parties! For every pizza ordered, $1 goes to our technology department which will purchase new computers, Elmos, technology supplies, computer games, etc.

• McTeacher Night
  This event takes place once or twice a year and generates funds for our WG Activity account that teachers use. Twenty percent of all proceeds made between the hours of 4-8:00 p.m. on that designated date goes to our school. WG teachers and staff “work” during those shifts. The next McTeacher Night is October 7th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

• Target RED Card for Wanda Gray
  When parents and families enroll and use their TARGET RED card, Target donates up to 1% of every purchase made with their RED card to Wanda Gray.

• McAlister’s Night @ Primrose—890-5250
  This event takes place three times a year and generates funds for our WG PTA. Ten percent of proceeds made from 5-9:00 p.m. go to PTA. WG PTA members and school staff “work” during those shifts.

• Collecting the following items generates funds for Wanda Gray School and/or our PTA:

• BOX TOPS (These are worth 10 cents each.)
• USED INK CARTRIDGES
• CAMPBELL’S SOUP LABELS
• BEST CHOICE UPC LABELS

• Attend Wanda Gray Night @ Ozark Mountain Gymnastics- Wanda Gray students are invited to attend these events. Cost is $10 at the door and $4 of that comes back to Mr. Graham’s PE department.

• The Turover Straus Group Inc has partnered with Gray Elementary PTA.
  
  The Turover Straus Group Inc. is a market research company for the food & beverage industry. Gray Elementary PTA has partnered with them to help in their research, in return Gray Elementary PTA earns money.
