Players: Past and Present
In the fall of 2000, Glendale High
School Softball was established. The program was
only in its second season of state recognized participation
when the 2001 Lady Falcons won there first District
Championship and competed in the state quarterfinal
game. The program made its second quarterfinal
appearance the following season while posting a
25-4 record. Over the past six seasons the program
has won a District Championships in 2001, 2002,
2003, and 2005 while amassing a 94-64 record.
Since 2001, 70% of all graduating seniors have
received scholarships to continue their education
and softball career. The program is rich with
tradition and many young ladies have set the
high standards
of the importance of a strong work ethic, discipline
and character that is expected from each Lady
Falcon. This is a family-oriented program with
expectations
that teammates display the same values toward
each other.
