Librarians Link to Library Mrs. Marilyn Harris is beginning her 9th year as Librarian at Glendale. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, and has taught English in Des Moines, Iowa, and Pershing Middle School, and has been librarian in Ankeny, Iowa, and Pershing Middle School. Her interests include reading and traveling. Mrs. Shellie Foltz has been with Springfield Public Schools for 13 years. She began her career as a high school Communication Arts teacher and is now one of the Glendale librarians. A Springfield native, Mrs. Foltz graduated from Glendale and subsequently from Missouri State University and earned her Masters degree from Drury University. She is married to Bruce, a second grade teacher in Springfield; has one son, Lucas; one grandson, Ethan; and a rescued dog named Natalie. Mrs. Foltz is also a published author and enjoys reading, writing, and watching ice hockey.
