Meet
the Glendale High School
Guidance Counselors!
Mrs.
Coyeatte Ewing
Students A - F, Grades 10-12
Mrs. Coyeatte Ewing is in her 14th year
at Glendale. With new counselor assignments
this year, she will now serve as Guidance
Counselor for students grades 10-12 with
last names A-F. Coyeatte earned her Master’s
of Science in Guidance and Counseling from
MSU (SMSU) in May 1998. Prior to counseling,
Coyeatte taught students with disabilities
for eleven years. Mrs. Ewing will be the
junior counselor this year. She also coordinates
the city’s All-Youth Relay for Life
and will begin a new club at Glendale,
Youth Against Cancer (YAC). This October
she and her husband will celebrate twenty-five
years of marriage. They have two children:
Erica, 18, will be a senior; and Briley,
15, will be a freshman this school year.
Mrs.
Tamara White
Students G - O, Grades 10-12
Mrs.
Tamara White is the Counselor for students
with last names Le-Roo. She received
her BS in Physical Education K-12 and her MS
in Secondary Counseling from SW Missouri State
University. She is in her 12th year of counseling;
her 6th in the Springfield Public Schools. She
is married and has two wonderful daughters. Mrs.
White enjoys all types of sporting events, going
to the lake, and being with friends and family.
Mrs.
Linda Meadows is the Counselor for students Rop-Z.
This is her third year at Glendale
and 20th year as a school counselor. Mrs. Meadows
received her B.M.E. (Music Education), Master’s
in School Counseling, and Educational Specialist
in Counselor Education from Southeast Missouri
State University. Mrs. Meadows enjoys singing and
spending time with family, especially her three
grandchildren - two in Springfield, and one in
Louisville, KY.
