Meet the Principal
and
Assistant Principals
Dr.
Matt Pearce is the new principal at Glendale
this year. Prior to coming to Glendale,
he worked as an administrator at Cherokee Middle
school, Hillcrest High School, and Carver Middle
School. Dr. Pearce was a teacher and coach at
Kickapoo High School. While away from school,
Dr. Pearce enjoys spending time with his wife,
Yvette, and children, Logan and Emma.
Mr.
Jon Ewing is in his 7th year as an Assistant
Principal at Glendale High School and his 21st
year in education. He began his career in education
as an 8th grade math teacher at Buffalo, MO and
then was a science/math teacher and a track and
cross country coach at Kickapoo High School.
He is married to Coyeatte and they have two children;
Erica, 16, and Briley, 13, who attend Kickapoo
and Cherokee.
Mrs.
Tammy Quinn is in her first year at Glendale
as an Assistant Principal. She has been in education
for over 20 years and is delighted to return
to her Alma Mater. A native of Springfield, Mrs.
Quinn enjoys spending time with her husband and
two children, traveling, reading and watching
sports in her spare time.
Mr.
Marty M. Marsh begins his first year as an Assistant
Principal at Glendale, after serving nine years
in Springfield as a Principal, Assistant Principal,
and Athletic/Activity Director. Outside of his
Glendale responsibilities, Mr. Marsh chairs the
District’s Athletics/Activities Program
Committee, works with the Tournament of Champions,
and serves as an adjunct professor at Drury University.
Mr. Marsh began his career as a teacher and coach
at Glendale. Together with his wife Trish, Mr.
Marsh has two children who will attend Glendale:
Mitchell and Madison.
