to anyone interested in after school art sessions, just for the fun of art and
membership is open to all students. You do not have to be in art class to participate.

committee in these areas: scholarship, leadership, community service, and character.
Sons & Daughters
of Liberty – Mr. Snodgrass - Room 117
The Sons and Daughters of Liberty provides students with the opportunity to engage
in political debate. All students and all views are welcome. Club members want
the full range of ideas to be discussed. Having diverse opinions within the same

World
Language Club (WLC) – Mrs. Eck - Room
323
AFSI is the largest club at Glendale. The main
purpose of the club is to involve students in new
cultural experience, whether or not they are enrolled
in a foreign language course, to encourage exchange
students to become involved in school activities,
and to support the work of the foreign language
department. Students have the opportunity to experience
other cultures in a way that cannot be produced
in the regular classroom setting. Activities include
foreign language films, field trips to art museum & authentic
restaurants, salsa/merengue dance lessons, etc.
Glendale students are encouraged to travel abroad
with a study or exchange program and may apply
for a scholarship from the club.
