Fremont Environmental Club

from "Recycling Club Makes a Difference", Springfield News Leader, May 2, 2009
In
the Fall of 2008 a group of fourth graders were upset after seeing the
trees in their neighborhood turned to mulch and decided they wanted to
make a change. The Fremont Environmental Club (FEC) is the
product of their determination and integrity.
The
mission of
the FEC is to do fun stuff and not be a boring club while learning
about environmental responsibility. Our hope is share our
knowledge with others in order to better our community.
If you would like to know more or help out, please contact Fremont computer teacher
and club sponsor Timmy Miano.
