Up and coming events at Williams include:

  • November 7-10 is the week of Parent Teacher conferences! If you've misplaced your conference date and time, please call Ms. Dora or your child's teacher at 523-2000.
  • Wednesday, November 9 - RIF party for grades 1 and 2
  • Thursday, November 10 - Title I Math Night (Don't miss out!!!)
  • Friday, November 11 - NO SCHOOL
  • Tuesday, November 15 - Fundraiser items are delivered to Williams - Parents may pick up their items in the APR from 1:15-6:00pm
  • Friday, November 18 - Williams Family Fun Night! (Food, Games, Prizes and FUN!) 6-8pm
  • Wednesday, November 23-Friday, November 25 - Students will have NO SCHOOL to celebrate fall break over Thanksgiving.
  • Monday, November 28 - Holiday Baskets PTA Food Drive begins at Williams!!!
  • Thursday, December 1 - School Picture Retakes and pictures of absent students from first picture day!

 

Supplies Needed: (no heelie shoes please, if you send your child in flip flops please pack an extra pair of shoes incase of an accidental 'blow out', thank you!)

Kindergarten - 2 Elmer's White Glue bottles (NO glue sticks), 1 pair Fiskar scissors, 2 boxes of Crayola crayons (box of 24), Clorox Wipes (boys only), Hand Sanitizer (girls only), 2 big boxes of Kleenex, Full-sized backpack, 2 packages of 24 #2 pencils, 1 box (gallon sized) Ziplock Bags (boys only), 1 box (sandwich sized) Ziplock Bags (girls only), 1 package of Black dry-erase markers, 2 folders, 1 small school box (hard plastic). Please do not bring a rest mat, ruler, pencil sharpener, toys, markers, colored pencils, twistables or glue sticks. Thank you!

All students grades 1-5 need the following supplies:

Full-sized backpack (no wheels), small plastic school box (not grade 4), box of 24 crayons, 1 pair of child sized Fiskar scissors, 4 glue sticks - no bottles, bottle of hand sanitizer, 1 container of anti-bacterial wipes, 2 pkg of 24 count #2 pencils, 1 pkg of fine tip dry erase markers, 1 pkg of highlighters

In addition to general supplies above see the additional grade level needs:

Grade 1 - Two folders (2 pocket style), 2 large pink erasers (not pencil top), 2 composition notebooks (wide ruled), 1 pen of each: black, blue and red

Grade 2 - 1 box of 12-24 colored pencils, 1 box of baby wipes, 3 black and white composition notebooks, 1 pen of each: black, blue and red, 1 pkg each Ziplock (gallon, quart baggies), 6 - folders with pockets and brads colors (2-red, 1-blue, 1-yellow, 1-green, 1-orange)

Grade 3 - Folders 2 pocket style with brads one of each color (red, yellow, orange, blue, purple and green), package of pens: black, blue and red, 3 black composition notebooks, 3- 70 page 3/8" spiral notebook, 1 package wide ruled paper (NO personal pencil sharpeners)

Grade 4 - 5 folders (2 pocket, three prong) green, black, yellow, blue, red. 1 package of pens: black, blue and red, 4 black/white composition notebooks, 2 packs of 24 #2 pencils, 1 box of Kleenex, (NO personal pencil sharpeners), baby wipes, clorox wipes or quart/gallon Ziplock bags. *Please do not label supplies, we will be sharing supplies - do NOT bring a school box.

Grade 5 - 1 folder (2 pocket with NO brads) of each of these colors: red, yellow, orange, blue, purple and green, 1-2 inch 3-ring binder (not trappers)

Mrs. Hawkins' Functional Skills Class - 2 boxes Kleenex, 2 canisters Clorox or Lysol Wipes, 1 bottle hand sanitizer, Backpack (large enough for an 8”x11” folder to fit without bending), no wheels please, 2 glue sticks, 1 bottle white school glue, 1 box crayola crayons (8 or 16 colors only), 6 #2 pencils (no mechanical), 1 box crayola colored pencils, classic colors (no markers please), 1 box quart size Ziplock bags, 3 packages 4x6 index cards, white, lined, 1 box small envelopes, lickable adhesive style (without adhesive pull strips)
