While you will be paired with a partner for this activity, each person will have four roles in this WebQuest:  Reader/Notetaker, Speech Writer, Presenter, Judge. 

After you and your partner choose one of the controversial issues, you will read several articles and take notes. 

You will then choose a position to defend.  Using the readings, you will find arguments to support your position. 

A persuasive speech will then be created and presented to a judge.  You will also judge a speech.  Your goal is to convince and to be convinced!!
