of the Holocaust - This WebQuest asks you to consider the perspectives
of different real-life individuals who lived through the Holocaust. The
goal is to understand their perspective while empathizing with their
experiences. The purpose is not necessarily to accept the beliefs of those
individuals. Rather, it is to learn one perspective, and compare it with
other, perhaps different, perspectives.

Supreme Court makes its decisions? You are about to become a Supreme Court
justice, entrusted with the power to make the final decision upon a
controversial case. Your opinion will become law in this

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner: After being magically transported back in time, you decide to make the best of it and hold a dinner party and invite some of the major important people of the time and get to know them better.

Mission Impossible - European Adventure (10th World History) -Your mission, if you chose to accept it, is to help the United States Secret Service locate a "phantom country" referred to in secret messages which have recently been decoded. The secret messages have given you relevant clues about the country's history, geography, and culture/government. Each one of you will be given a different role and its corresponding clues to identify the "phantom country"
The F rench Revolution - (11 th) This WebQuest will explore the events leading up to the French Revolution and the different perspectives the different groups of French society had on the tumultuous events. You will see how lives were drastically changed and the effect that this event had on the course of history.
Look Who's Footing the Bill - (9-12) This is an interactive web quest that asks students to explore democracy and the national debt.
The World's Hardest Job (evaluating the presidents) - Students will develop a list of qualities that will make a great president.
The Decision to Drop the Bomb -A community in California is getting together to discuss the reason for dropping the bomb. Four teams of people representing a Japanese citizen, President Truman's advisor, the Secretary of Defense, and a nuclear physicist will congregate to debate this controversial issue. Your role as one of these people is to research your particular point of view and decide whether dropping the Atomic Bomb was necessary or not.
The American Civil War - You and your team will examine the Civil War by looking at several different perspectives those living through the war. Your job will be to analyze your individual and gain an understanding on their beliefs and feelings while looking at how the war effected them. Will the points of view be similar? Will they conflict?
Building Monuments in Ancient Egypt - (9th) You have been chosen to create the grandest, most magnificent monument the world has ever seen. I demand only one thing from you and that is a pyramid type structure greater than those at Giza.
Put Words in My Mouth - (10-12)You have been selected to the President's speech writing committee! The first female President is due to give her first State of the Union Address. She plans to outline her agenda, but she needs you to help her plan the most effective speech that will incorporate the topics and issues that are most important to the people.
The War of the Worlds - This WebQuest asks you to examine the countries of the United States, Germany and Japan as they endured the most destructive war in history, World War II. By looking at the war through different perspectives, you will be able to understand the dispute and its effects more fully.

This WebQuest is designed to get students to not only learn about the 1960s but also benefit from the knowledge of adults in society. Students will work in partnerships to write interview questions to ask adults who lived during this decade and use the information to write a newspaper article with appropriate graphics.

The Cost of Peace A WebQuest designed to promote cooperative work of students to understand the Civil War from the perspectives of the Northerners, Southerners and Slaves. Develops understanding of the people, the events, the leaders, the documents and the emotions of the people involved. Students develop a PowerPoint to share information, take notes and then participate in a debate over the issues, documents, people and rights during the war.

We Are One This WebQuest allows students to study explorers, geography and folktales through their ancestor's cultural contributions. The students take on the roles of geographers, literary experts, biographers and culturalists. The students will display their cultural contributions at the International Cultural Exchange Conference.

You will research the roles of women in the Civil War, the soldier role, and as the music specialist, you will describe how soldiers in the War relied on music during battle. It is important to understand the impact that the War had on people left behind as well as those fighting on the battle lines.
The Lost Colony of Roanoke - (3rd grade) The Colony of Roanoke was the first English settlement here in what would become the United States. When John White, one of the original settlers, came back to Roanoke after leaving for supplies, he found that the entire colony had disappeared, including his daughter and granddaughter.
