Membership
Annual dues are $5.00
We send $3.75 of that on to cover state and national dues
To join, we simply need your name, address and contact information, (phone number and e-mail address, if you so desire)along with your dues. We will mail your membership card to you. Most of our information will go out via e-mail or this website. Anyone can join: parents, students, teachers, other family members, friends, anyone interested in helping students succeed! PTSA has a “mail basket” in the main office at Central. You can drop membership requests there or mail them to Central PTSA, 423 E. Central, Springfield, MO 65802
Year End Summary
Central PTSA had 82 members this year, nearly double what we had last year.
PTSA volunteers assisted with student flu vaccinations
In December we held a Teacher Appreciation Lunch for the staff at Central.
There was a great turnout for the Reflections contest this year!
We had a clothing drive in March to collect items for the Springfield Council of PTAs Clothing Bank
We will award a $100 scholarship to a graduating senior
We will have a staff appreciation one of the last few days of the school year.

PTSA President’s Message
Hi everyone,
It’s not too late to take advantage of our fundraising partnership with the Springfield Cardinals! When you purchase your tickets for the May 27th or June 10th ball games mention Central PTSA and we will get $2 back from the Cardinals.
It’s been a good year for our PTSA. We increased our membership total by quite a bit this year, and I hope we can grow even more next year. I have enjoyed serving as president this year and look forward to doing so next year.
