The Link Clinic will be available for Central’s students on Friday mornings from 8-11:00. The Link clinic is a school based health clinic that sees children from infancy through school age years. Phyllis Harter, nurse practitioner, will be running that clinic. The Link Clinic is working together with the Jordan Valley Clinic at the corner of Benton and Chestnut so that your whole family can be seen if needed. In working with the Jordan Valley Clinic, we want to ensure that all students have access to medical and dental care. They are taking Medicaid, non-Medicaid and insurance.
If a student has a health need such as a sore throat, earache, or needs a physical, let Nurse Jones at Central High School know and she will schedule for an appointment. A permission slip can be sent home so that it is not necessary for parents to attend the appointment. A completed permission form is good for the entire school year.
