Central Command

Teachers’ planning time is precious and our CENTRAL COMMAND volunteers will make a difference in the lives of our teachers. Copy service to teachers is provided throughout the school day. The CENTRAL COMMAND volunteers, who operate the copy machines several hours each day in the office and teacher work spaces, enable teachers to spend more time planning, preparing and working more effectively with our Central students.  Some volunteers work exclusively for individual teachers in specific departments where their expertise is greatly appreciated.

     Imagine how many phone calls come into the attendance office each morning!    CENTRAL COMMAND volunteers are used each day in this office to handle phone calls throughout the day, especially during the first hours of the morning.   The attendance office staff is also responsible for student ID badges.  Each morning, CENTRAL COMMAND volunteers help to replace lost badges. The central office secretarial staff also welcomes help with the office tasks of sorting and delivering mail after the noon delivery.
