Process of Admission
August (usually mid-August) - Official enrollment day (can enroll any day following)
August (Friday after official enrollment day) - Boyd Elementary transfer acceptance notification day
August-June - Boyd Elementary transfer waiting list is maintained. Students may be added to the list throughout the year.
August (usually end of Month) - School Year Begins
December/January - 5th Grade transfer to Middle School forms due
January - End of 1st Semester, Start of 2nd Semester
March - Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment and orientation for next school year
April - Headstart and pre-school tours of Boyd Elementary
May - End of School Year
Admission Processing Time
If students enroll after the first day of school there will be a one day processing period before they can start attending the school. This allows for the transferring of forms between schools and the preparing of student materials and classroom for their learning.
